In the Illustration Class, this is a movie poster assignment.
Hachi: A Dog's Tale, this movie was the first movie I watched with my classmates, so I chose it for this movie poster project assignment. What I remember most is the winter and the dog in the movie, so I drew an illustration of Hachi and its owner walking together in the snow in the poster.
For this movie, my thumbnail was all about the interaction between humans and dogs. In the end, I chose the idea of people and dogs walking away in the snow, and the footprints they left will eventually be covered again by snow. Just like at the end of the movie, the dog and its owner are finally reunited and leave together.
